Let's talk about music shall we? More specifically about great guitar playing, soulful vocals, an amazing rhythm section and an overall get your ass moving show with fun to be had by all. Who do I mean? Gov't Mule of course, led by the absolutely amazing Warren Haynes who apparently has absolutely no need for sleep whatsoever and continues to tour with the likes of the Grateful Dead, the Warren Haynes Band, The Allman Brothers and even plays a good number of dates with just him and an acoustic guitar in an intimate setting no matter the size of the venue.
While I was thinking about ideas for fun sites to build I came across this template that I thought it was a perfect backdrop for a site devoted to my favorite musicians and more importantly for sharing their music in accordance with their taping policy which I also posted just to make sure that they all knew that I was not out looking for a way to capitalize on the music. I just wanted to share some of the shows that I've collected over the years and make it easier for people that may or may not have bit torrent capabilities (I'm thinking specifically of students here) to listen to or grab their favorite tracks.
In my putting of this site together I found a great little MP3 player that is working out rather well and if you look under the MP3 section you'll see it in use there and from those pages you can either download or stream the songs whichever you prefer. I'm looking right now for a player that will play .wav files in a little module that you can build a play list in and grab some tasty versions from different shows to listen to no matter what page you're on.
I'm open to some ideas about this site and would love to hear any suggestions you have for shows for me to look for or for improvements to the site. Thanks for stopping by.
